My greatest memory from a concert is from the final 2NE1 concert in Singapore. I attended it with my brother, a friend at school also like 2NE1 so I knew she was going as well. I was excited just by reaching the venue and seeing fans who were also very happy and excited.
I like Minzy the most, she's a great dancer and singer. CL is very chic and she did a DJ stage which was so cool. Park Bom sang her solo song in a beautiful long pink gown. Dara was so cute, picking up gifts given by fans.
My favourite stage was Minzy and Cl's stage of "Please Don't Go", they were on a "rollercoaster" together and it seems so fun. Also enjoyed the other performances too, excellent dancing and vocals ~ Also, they all sat on a couch and sang "I Don't Care", such a classic song, so touching to see~
Of course, I hope they may get back together again someday, I will also like to go to their individual concerts.
Other groups I would like to go to will be Mamamoo and KARD, it will be so much fun and exciting~
My favourite concert was Monsta X concert. It was so memorable especially because I was late to the venue! I thought the concert would start at 7.30pm as the other concert usually start. So I really took my time to go there and reached the venue at 5:30pm. I went to look around the venue and even bought some merchandise when later I realised that not many people were there. When I checked my ticket, the concert actually starts at 6pm. I literally ran to get inside and dropped my phone. When I get inside, the boys already start performing. It was such a bad way to start a concert but the whole concert experience was amazing. Although Wonho could not be there at the last minute, but still the other six members performed really well! All the fans were so friendly and united eventhough it was our first time meeting each other. And I think that’s the beauty of a concert ♥
The most memorable concert that I've been to is Seventeen Diamond Edge concert on 9th September 2017. It was my first concert experience. I’ve always wanted to go to a concert but never had the chance. As soon as I started working, I decided to go to the concert. I even went queuing as early as 6am to buy the ticket on the ticketing day. I thought I was quite early but there was already a long queue when I reached there. That’s when I knew that people started queuing a few days before the ticketing day! 😅
On the concert day, I reached super early to the stadium as I was so excited. I went alone but met a lot of new friends there. I even helped the fan-club to distribute some banners for the fans. I get to meet fans from other countries that came here just to watch the concert! *I was so amazed at that time when I knew that.
Later, the rain started to pour and everyone ran to find shelter. I stood under a tree with my raincoat on and still drenched by the rain lol. Thank goodness there was a person selling merchandise offered me to stand under his stall’s parasol!
I started crying when the boys appeared on the stage. They are in front of me but it feels like I’m watching them on TV! It was too good to be real. I didn’t even take a lot of picture/videos of them as I was so amazed by the whole situation. All the faces I saw on my phone, were literally in front of me. All the songs I heard through my earphone, were sang live. It really feels like a dream!
I was at the standing zone during the concert. Even-though I was being pushed, squeezed and sandwiched throughout the concert, it was still the best memory that I ever had!
I woke up the next morning with sore all over my body. But, it’s all worth it! Up till now, I might have been to a lot of concerts, but this concert is always the most memorable that I’ve been to!
The best kpop concert I've ever been to was when I traveled all the way to Japan to see 2PM's Tokyo Dome concert in 2016. It was a 2-day event, and I was attending both days! We even had a meet-up of foreign fans who flew in so we could all say hi to each other and bond over our favorite group.
I was very nervous, because on the 1st day, I was going to meet Nichkhun after the concert. I don't think I've ever been that nervous in my entire life, but I managed to play it cool. He was extremely sweet, even though he couldn't talk for very long, he made sure to ask me questions and was very engaged. Thank you, Khun!!
My most vivid memory of the concert was on the 2nd day, when I had floor tickets. Tokyo Dome is HUGE, so being close to the main stage on the floor was a blessing. At the end of the concert, when everyone was nearly in tears because we did not know when we would see 2PM as a group again, they suddenly started to perform their song "I'll Be Back." Everyone in the audience went crazy! It was totally unexpected, but very cool of them.
Inside my head, I was panicking a little bit, though. Through all of this, I was starting to become worried because the concert was running long, and I was supposed to fly home right after the concert. lol When it actually ended, my friends helped me literally run to get my luggage and get to the airport just in time to catch my flight. I'll always be grateful to them, because I know running with my heavy suitcases was really hard, and they didn't have to do that. Honestly, it was the perfect way to end a very crazy trip.
I have been the luckiest Kpop fan because I had the chance to see a lot of my favourite groups live but one which meant the most for me would probably be when VICTON came to Paris in 2018. I still remember being so sad because they announced a European tour but no Paris date ... But French Alices made their voice heard and they added a date ! The day the tickets were on sale I was shaking so hard (though 450% sure to have mine), and I decided to go for a VIP, which meant I would be able to experience my very first (and until today only) Hi-Touch. I was literally crying when I bought the ticket because I realised I would be meeting my favourite group, that I've been following ever since their debut, and it just meant so much to me. D-Day arrived, still shaking, and while queuing, I saw Sejun and Byungchan from afar and I was like "Is it really happening???". I meant so many great people there, with whom I attend a lot of concerts. Time comes for us to enter the venue, I line up facing them and I'm over the moon, I shoot my most beautiful smile to Seungsik who responds to it (and I remember having the most unpretty reaction ever to it lol), I have a waving fight with Hanse (he just won't stop waving lol) and comes my turn for the Hi-Touch. I had a few present and I didn't know how to give them so I was a mess ... I gave them the nail polish I got them and arrives Seungwoo, whom I had nothing to give to, so I open the letter I had written for them and hand him a four leafed clover (I had seven of them) and he looks at it with sparkly eyes before saying "Oh! Four leafed clover!" WHERE DID YOU LEARN THAT WORD?? I was so shocked I was like "Yes Yes Yes!". I took my pic (look terrible btw lol) and went back to clap their hands one more time, which wasn't allowed actually, so the security guard was running behind me "Don't cheat! Don't cheat". Too late, I had my round 2! Then the concert officially, and I lived my best Alice life. They sang my absolute favourite song, Sunrise, and I remember thinking to myself "That's it, that's my moment", because I was so not expecting it ... I'm Fine was the absolute best live, Sejun was just so sweet!! I sang so much and was so proud of all they've accomplished for them to be able to do such a tour and meet fans around the globe. They won my heart all over again and I couldn't be happier
my best memory at a kpop concert was last year (2018) in Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL. It was my first kpop concert and it was from my favourite group, KARD. I bought the ticket long before the concert and I was very anxious for the day to come. So, finally, the day came, I hadn't even been able to sleep the day before. I arrived very early in line to enter the concert venue. In line I talked with many people, I made new friends and it helped a lot the time to pass quickly. So the concert started and it was one of the best nights of my life. Each song was unique and very special. To me everyone who has the opportunity to go to a KARD concert is the luckiest person in the world because they're a unique group with huge talent and they know how to make a concert good and fun for fans. I got home after the show, being the happiest person in the world because I saw my favorite group. Again I couldn't sleep at night after the show because I was still very excited even though I was a little tired because I had been in line all day. I really want to see them again ASAP because I know it will be worth every second of the concert. Each kpop concert is unique and each group is unique so we have to enjoy a lot and give a lot of love to the kpop groups and artists because they work very hard to give the best of them to the fans.
I love you KARD! And hiddenkard!! 💕💕
some photos of the day
July 30, 2016 when BTS held their concert here in the Philippines at Mall Of Asia Arena, for me it is a heart fluttering and a great experience. Epilogue in Manila is the first Kpop concert that I attended. I was so nervous when the ticket selling day came, because i thought that the ticket will sold out in just a few minutes, but I think that I am lucky that time because in less than 1 hour, the ticket that i wanted is in my hands now so I cant stop crying and thanking the Lord for the chance he gave to me.
On the day of the concert, I cant stop smiling because I am so excited to enter the MOA Arena and watch BTS performing in live. Me and my bestfriend arrive at MOA Arena 6 in the evening I thought that we arrived early so we chitchat a little but when I bumped into my classmate and tell me that the concert already begun, that is the time that I realized that I am late. So I panicked and run to the nearest entrance of the MOA Arena. My heart is really beating so fast, when I enter the MOA Arena, the concert is really really starting. Luckily the staffs assist me to my seat. I was in the upperbox area . I am happy that I am able to watch them live. After the concert, I look for my Bestfriend outside and and realizing that she leave me alone so I waited BTS outside the arena and I saw them entering their bus headed to the airport. July 30, 2016 is the most memorable and one of the happiest day in my life.
2018 WILD KARD TOUR in Manila (February 9, 2018) was by far the best kpop fangirl moment in my life.
Ever since it was announced on FB that KARD will have a concert in Manila, I already decided that I'll buy the best ticket on the first day of ticket selling so I skipped work during ticket selling. That's how eager & excited I am to see them. I've been anticipating this concert since it was announced!
1 day before the concert, I luckily met KARD near my workplace. They were exploring the city during their free time. I totally did not expect to see them before the concert. I was very nervous that time because it was my first time seeing kpop idols roaming around the city. I approached the members and got their autograph. I wasn't prepared that time. I was alone, I didn't bring my wallet and I did not have a decent paper with me. I had small conversation with BM and I shown a photo of my banner that I made for the concert. I was very blessed to meet them before the concert!
February 9, 2018 came. I was with my sister to watch the concert. We went to the concert venue early since it was free seating. We were seated at 2nd row center. Words cannot express how very amazed I am to watch KARD perform their songs live. The moment they performed their first song 'Into You', my heart fluttered and I got goosebumps all over my arms because of excitement! Until now when I remember the things that happened during the concert, I still get goosebumps. I've been watching Kpop concert/events for the past 9 years and this is the first time I experienced this. Probably because I met them personally before the concert made this experience super special. But then again, they are really talented, fresh & unique. Their performance is breathtaking & fun. What shocked me the most is that they were like normal tourists walking around city, but when on stage, their charisma is overflowing. Perfect vocals, difficult amazing dance move on point, captivating visual, fun interaction, wonderful setlist~ I was cheering & raising my banner the entire concert!
After the concert, we had our hi-touch & photo op session. First was the hi-touch session. As our turn is approaching, my hands were getting cold. I'm getting nervous again... I was behind my sister. I was smiling while holding my banner as walk near the members. First was J.Seph, followed by Jiwoo & Somin, and lastly BM. I completely forgot to speak during the hi-touch. No words came out from my mouth. The members said "Thank you" and when it was BM's turn he said, "Thank you Gillian!". I clearly heard BM say my name. The hi-touch session was too fast but he remembered me. I was very happy he knows my name. Before the concert ends, I was already thinking of telling him or J.Seph "Do you remember me?" during the photo op session but BM already recognized me. Although I was speechless, it was the best hi touch experience ever!
Photo op session started as soon as the hi touch session finished. The group photo consists of 10 people - 5 people sits on the floor and 5 people at the back of the members. I thought that my sister and I will end up last on the line or I'll be separate with my sister. Turns out that we were the first in line for the next batch of photo op. While we were going behind BM & Somin, J.Seph looked and pointed at me and said: "Ohhh". I waved at him and went between BM & Somin. J.Seph recognized me finally. I asked BM to hold my banner and my sister thanked BM for making me happy. My sister did a heart with BM while I did a heart with Somin. We smiled happily at the camera. After that, BM said thank you again. I also said thank you and got my banner back. Before I exit the stage, I said saranghae one last time but the members were already busy talking with other fans. But still I know all the members got my message because of my banner. I love KARD!
#KARDinManila was definitely my greatest memory at a K-Pop concert!
My favorite K-pop concert would have to be my very first K-pop concert ever! 2014 2PM Go Crazy U.S. Tour in Chicago! Oh! I remember when the light went out and the curtain dropped as 'Heartbeat' came on! I cried my eyes out. It was at that moment when I realized they were REAL I was seeing and breathing the same air as them! They were not just on the screen they were actually sharing the same space as me! Haha XD I remember my friend looking over at me as if I had gone crazy! Then, the excitement got REAL! I was jumping, screaming and enjoying the night, it was such a BLAST! Then the end came and the fan project was to hold up balloon that was passed before the show, I remember their reaction to it! They appreciated it and told us, since we show them our love they would show us theirs' so they made a group heart for us! Ahh~ it felt like it was just yesterday! Even talking about it here I'm so happy! Haha
